From this experience, they have formed a company that will take care of the problem fast and efficiently, but also take care of the parent whose life has been turned upside down.
Dina Shields/Managing Partner
Dina is a lifelong Bay Area resident where she attended Holy Names High School and UC Berkeley. She is familiar with lice infestations, both as a teacher; with over 12 years of classroom experience, as well as a mother, having two young children of her own. This firsthand experience of coping with lice, in the classroom and in her home, provides the inspiration and motivation to help others conquer these pests. She lives in the East Bay with her husband and two lice-free kids.
Melissa Shilliday/Managing Partner
Melissa has been a Bay Area business executive for the last 25 years. Her career has crossed over many industries, and through these experiences she has developed an affinity for customer service. Nothing is more important than the customer as far as Melissa is concerned. She hopes to bring this philosophy to NitPixies. In 1997, Melissa started a company in Emeryville and grew the business to a very profitable $25 million entity. Two years ago she sold her business and retired to raise her two children. She is excited to re-enter the workforce in her own community.
